Computer room
The computer room is located on the right at the top of the stairs in the GCR, and is opened with the GCR key. It contains ten PCs computers, a scanner, and a laser printer, and is primarily intended to provide computing facilities for GCR members who don't own their own machines. There are also a couple of ethernet outlets available for people who wish to connect their computers to the internet from there.
Use of the computers requires a username and password, which can be obtained from Andrew Middleton, the College's computing officer (andrew.middleton@christ-church.oxford.ac.uk, Schools Quad). If you live in St Aldates and have an ethernet socket in your room, you will first have to register your ethernet card with him before being able to access it.
Laser printing costs 4p per page and is battelled termly.
