Kitchens
The GCR has two rooms containing kitchen facilities.
The turret kitchen is accessible from the common room, and is stocked with chocolate, crisps, soft drinks, and fruit. Payment for these is on battels which means you don't have to worry about the cost until the next college battel bill arrives. Each member has a page to sign for items purchased. It is imperative that all members sign out items correctly and legibly; the failure to sign up for items can put large dents in the GCR budget, and may lead to the suspension of the service.
The turret kitchen also contains coffee- and tea-making supplies. Members are battelled £2.50 per term for tea and coffee, but can opt out of paying this levy (and thus not partake of any tea or coffee) by contacting the GCR Secretary.
The second kitchen lies between the common room and the dining room, and contains microwave and conventional ovens, and a dishwasher.
