St Aldates Quad

St Aldates Quad is a complex of about forty rooms situated on St Aldates, immediately to the south of the city centre and virtually opposite Christ Church. St Aldates Quad is mainly used to accommodate first year graduates new to Christ Church.

St Aldates contains seven staircases, each of which contains several flats of three or four rooms each. Each flat contains a shared kitchen and bathroom. Some staircases are equipped with showers, and the number of such staircases is increasing. Common areas are cleaned daily by the scouts, and the rooms themselves are cleaned weekly.

The ground floor of Staircase V contains a laundry. You'll need your Tom Gate (wicket) key to get in. The laundry contains two washing machines and two dryers. Make sure you have plenty of 20 and 50p coins to operate the laundry machines.

The college squash courts are situated on staircase 4 of the quad.
